1. They have an intentional leader—who likes to have fun
One of the few folks who’s actually from the Huntsville area, Brandon Smith grew up in Madison. After high school, he attended The University of Alabama where he studied Management Information Systems (MIS) and met his now wife, Megan.
Brandon and Megan have three daughters and love traveling. They’ve recently taken a couple of “trips of a lifetime” to France and Italy.
Professionally, Brandon’s career path has pivoted over the years. He ended up deciding that MIS wasn’t for him, so he went back to school to score his master’s degree in accounting.
Brandon launched his career at Anglin Reichmann Armstrong and has contributed to various departments over the years.
He started out working as an auditor and controller but later transitioned into public accounting because he wanted to work more closely with clients. He started out consulting in Anglin’s Solutions Advisory Services department, moved into leadership roles and became the Managing Partner in July 2022.
Under Brandon’s leadership—”a guy with shaggy hair who loves sports”—Anglin is defying accounting stereotypes.
2. Anglin hosts tons of fun team building events
Brandon recognizes the value of developing the people that work for him and knows that a little fun can go a long way.
