Jarot Scarbrough is a manager in the Tax Advisory Services department. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration-Accounting from Birmingham-Southern College in 2008.  Jarot then graduated cum laude from Samford University’s Cumberland School of Law and went on to complete his LL.M. in Taxation from New York University School of Law.  He has over a decade of experience in public accounting, providing strategic tax planning and advisory services for individuals and businesses.  Jarot leads the state and local taxation team at Anglin which helps businesses navigate the various state and local income tax, franchise tax as well as sales and use tax laws.  He also focuses on tax credits for businesses including the Employee Retention Tax Credit as well as R&D Tax Credit.

Jarot is a member of the Alabama Bar Association, Omicron Delta Kappa National Leadership Honor Society and Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society. He is also involved in the community and is on the Board of Trustees and Treasurer for the Pensacola Little Theatre and Stamped Film Festival. Jarot’s thoughtful approach to tax advisory services gives clients the support they need to make important decisions regarding their business or individual tax situations.
