Kandy Gardner is a Partner in the Solutions Services Department. She has over 26 years of public accounting experience serving the needs of government contracting organizations. Kandy is a graduate of the University of Alabama at Huntsville, earning her Certificate of Accounting in 1998. In 1989, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Faulkner University. Kandy earned her Bachelor of Science in Social Science/Pre-Law from Athens College in 1974. Before joining Anglin, Kandy spent over a decade in private accounting within the government contracting sector, acquiring a comprehensive understanding of government contract accounting. Kandy provides support, training, and structural guidance to help contractors traverse complex government contracting issues, including cost proposal requirements and regulations. She is a seasoned senior instructor who provides topic training on government accounting systems and software options such as: eFAACT, CostPoint, and QuickBooks adapted for the contracting environment. Kandy also provides Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) consulting and mentors contractors through the government contracting lifecycles. Experienced in DCAA audit support, Kandy also consults on DCAA audits, including provisional rates, pre-award, and post-award audits.

Kandy is a board member of the Woman’s Economic Development Council Foundation and The Catalyst and serves as Treasurer on the Village of Promise board. With a “servant-leader” approach that has built trusted, long-term client relationships, Kandy has the unique background and expertise to help clients navigate the complex government contracting universe successfully.
