Employee benefit plan audits are a necessary engagement for organizations with 100 FTEs or more, but you will need to determine if a full-scope or limited scope audit will satisfy the requirements. As you get close to the FTE threshold, it may also be helpful to gain some insights on your plan set-up and operations.
