Richard (Rick) is a Principal in our Tax Advisory Services department with an impressive career spanning over four decades as a certified public accountant. His journey began with 23 years in public accounting before venturing into the corporate world as Vice President of corporate tax for a prominent national trucking company, where he spent the next 18 years. Driven by his passion for taxation, Rick eventually returned to public accounting, assuming the role of managing the Winter Haven, Florida, tax department.

Rick’s expertise lies in various tax-related matters, including income tax, trusts and estates, and state and local tax issues. With an unwavering commitment to his craft, he dedicates a substantial amount of time to staying up to date with the latest tax regulations and strategies, ensuring the highest level of service to clients.

A solid educational foundation complemented Rick’s journey to becoming a renowned CPA. He obtained an Associate of Arts degree from Polk Community College. Further, he pursued his academic aspirations at the University of Florida, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree with a concentration in Mathematics. Complementing his mathematical acumen, he achieved a Post Baccalaureate degree from the University of Florida, specializing in accounting.
