Rebecca Givens is a Supervisor in the Tax Advisory Services Department. Rebecca earned her Master of Accountancy in Taxation from the University of Tennessee. She also graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Queens University of Charlotte. She has over four years of experience in public accounting, supporting clients with tax planning and preparation needs. Rebecca also provides in-depth advisory support to analyze the impact future business or individual transactions will have on a client’s tax scenario moving forward. Her focus is primarily to support individuals and pass-through entities, but Rebecca also provides tax guidance to not-for-profits of various sizes. Her industry focus includes government contracting, real estate, hospitality, and manufacturing.
Rebecca serves as a Board of Directors for the Federal Tax Clinic. She is an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants. Rebecca’s experience working within various industries ensures she brings a fresh tax advisory approach to every scenario her clients face.
